TERACIN

Indication:

Teracin is indicated for the treatment of anaplasmosis, pneumonia, leptospirosis, foot rot,diphtheria, mastitis, black quarter, bacterial enteritis, navel ill, heartwater, dermatophilosis, wound, pink eye, mycoplasmosis, enzootic abortion (Bedsoniasis), shipping fever, pneumonia, post-operativeinfections, post-parturient infections,  fowl cholera, fowl typhoid, CRD& CCRD.

Dosage & Administration:

Teracin Tablet: Cattle/Buffalo:1-2bolus/25-50kg body weight. Goat/sheep-½-1bolus/10-20 kg body weight.Horse:1 bolus/75 kg body weight. For reproductive diseases-Cattle/Buffalo/Horse:1-2 bolus& Goat/Ewe/Dog/Cat: ½ bolus introduced into the vagina. Poultry:1-2 bolus/10kg feed or 2 bolus/3.75 liter water by mixing. Fish: 75 mg/kg body weight for 5-10 days. Shrimp: 450 mg/kg body weight once daily.

Teracin Powder: Livestock: 1g/10-20 kg body weight for 3-7 days;Poultry: 1 g/L drinking water for 3-7 days; Fish: for prevention: 3-4 g/kg feed & for treatment: 4-6 g/kg feed; Shrimp: for prevention: 4-6 g/kg feed & for treatment: 8-10 g/kg feed for 5-7 days.

Preparation:

Teracin Tablet: Each tablet contains Oxytetracycline Dihydrate BP 500 mg.

Teracin Powder: Each 100 gm powder contains Oxytetracycline USP 200 mg.
